Practice Areas

  • VA Benefit Appeals:

    • To veterans: We can help you with your appeal before the Court of Appeal for Veteran Claims (CAVC) and Board of Veteran Appeals (BVA).
    • We sometimes take cases that require a higher level review or a supplemental claim (i.e. the early VA administrative appeals process).  We have access to the same system that the VA uses when looking at evidence, so we can easily determine if you have a good case by looking at evidence in this system.
  • Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Claims:

    • If you have been discriminated against in the workplace based on sex, pregnancy, race, national origin, age, or disability,  we can help you file your claim with the EEOC if there is no state EEO system to apply to.
  • Federal Employees Compensation Act (FECA) Claims:

    • If you need help filing or appealing a civilian disability (i.e. similar to worker's comp) claim, we can help you!
  • Military & VA Medical Malpractice:*

    • To veterans, military dependents, and now active duty members injured by medical malpractice:  WE CAN HELP!
    • You can file and receive damages for military or VA medical malpractice under the Federal Torts Claims Act (FTCA), National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), and (for those injured overseas in federal jurisdictions), the Military Claims Act (MCA)!  But, you need a lawyer who understands the difficult statutes and regulations governing claims against the government to make sure your rights are protected.  It is NOT the same as if you had been inured by civilian doctors.
    • We represent claims against all branches of the military and VA for medical malpractice.
  • Federal Torts Claims Act and Military Claims Act Claims (Personal Injury Claims Against the Federal Government): *

    • If you have a personal injury claim against the government we can help.
      • Examples of this include:
        • car wrecks caused by a government employee acting within the scope of their employment and
        • slip and falls on government property
*Disclaimer: FTCA, NDAA, AND, MCA CASES CAN TAKE UP TO THREE YEARS OR LONGER TO SETTLE.
